Fleur De Force Make Up Collection

Lipglosses £6.99
Eyeshadow Quads £7.99
Make Up Bag £8.99

One of the first YouTubers I ever came across was the lovely Fleur from Fleur De Force. Since discovering Fleur she has stayed one of favourites and was actually one of the bloggers that inspired me to start my own blog and YouTube Channel.
You can probably imagine how excited I was when I received an invite to the launch of Fleur's new beauty line. Fleur has been killing it this year with the launch of her book The Glam Guide and an eyelash range with Eyelure. The launch of Fleur De Force Beauty is brilliant and I am so excited to share the collection with you after meeting the lovely lady herself and hearing her love for the products.

Fleur's first make up collection is exclusive to and features a cute make up bag, two eye shadow quads and six lipgloss shades. The range is themed around Fleur's love of stars and her gorgeous pastel/water colour branding.
I absolutely adore the make up bag, it has the most beautiful design with pastel colour and rose gold details. I like that it has poppers so you can expand the bag, if like me you have a habit of carrying too much stuff!

I have the eye shadow quad in Luna Rose, a rose gold toned quad that is right up my street. The four shades include a matte soft pink, a metallic rose gold, a shimmery ivory with a hint of pink and a mauve with hints of gold. I used to be scared of these tones of shadows as I am very pale but I actually really enjoy wearing them. I love that all the shadows in this quad work well together easily and that you can get quite a few different looks out of it.
The shadows are soft, pigmented and easy to blend. A really great quality and affordable product.

I love wearing lipstick and actually feel a bit funny without it, however I'm not the biggest fan of glosses because I hate that sticky feeling most have. Fleur's range includes six shades from neutral pink to your traditional reds, there is a shade for everyone!
I have the shades Written In The Stars, a neutral pink which is slightly darker than my own lip colour, and Lucky Star, which is a blue toned red.

The glosses actually feel really nice and aren't that sticky. I think it's impossible for a gloss not to have that texture but these aren't tacky feeling or a magnet for your hair to stick to.
The pigmentation is great and you only need one application for an opaque finish. The glosses have a sweet scent and wear off nicely after about four hours.

I really am impressed with Fleur's first make up collection and really hope she expands it!
It's very affordable, very cute and the products are great quality.
Have you tried any of the Fleur De Force make up range?

Being MIA

So I've basically been missing in action for the past month on this blog, to be honest even longer.
I've been possibly the worlds worst blogger this year. I've been posting once a week, if that, and feel completely out of the blogging world and community.

I don't even feel like it's right to try and make excuses, but basically life got busy and my YouTube Channel grew a little bit so most of my time has been spent uploading two videos a week over there. I've been blogging for over three years and making videos for about a year properly. Doing something new and challenging has taken over my time and the blog has kind of faded away into the background.
The less I blogged the worse I felt about myself and my blog, it's kind of like that snowball effect where it's got to the point where my 'blog self confidence' is at a very low point. I've been struggling with some personal issues as well lately, I've been feeling quite down and worthless, so the last thing I've wanted to do is face the reality of my pretty crap blog!

I considered just deleting this website and moving on from it, but I still have so much love for blogging. I know my blog is at best average, and the lack of effort I've put into it means it really is kind of a waste of internet space at the moment. But I don't want to throw something away that I've worked on and has been a huge part of my life for over three years.

I think one of the hardest parts about blogging is trying not to compare yourself to others, I've watched other bloggers achieve great things and grow brilliantly whilst I've stayed static for so long. Meaning my motivation and passion has faded. When I've had time to blog I've just put it off in favour of other things.

I've accepted that my blog will always just be what it is and isn't a high profile/glossy/top blog that we all know and read. However I have a passion for writing and am going to try and jumpstart my blogging game again.

My lack of blogging the past few months means I don't actually think anyone reads anymore, but if you do then thank you so much. It means more than you'll ever know and I'm very sorry for being incredibly awful lately!

I'm still very active everywhere else on the internet, just not where the attention is needed. Here's hoping I'll be back in the swing of things very soon.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint
Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint
Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paint £3.99 each

I hate waiting for nail varnish to dry! I am far too impatient and no matter how long I leave it, it usually smudges. Barry M have recently expanded their fab nail product collection with a new line of nail polishes that dry very quickly. Here are the original 9 shades in the line up, there is pretty much a shade for everyone here.

This line of nail paints has bottles and names of course all designed around the theme of speed and racing. I love the racing flag lids, they are different, fun and easily identifiable. The names too are all excellently themed.
This range introduces a brilliant new brush, which makes applying polish very easy and fast. It's a completely flat brush with a rounded end, it covers the whole nail and gives you an even coat in one stroke.  I'd love to see this style of brush introduced into other Barry M polishes.

The line up of Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints includes shades:

In A Heartbeat- slightly muted salmon pink, very classic and sophisticated.
Kiss Me Quick- traditional, bright baby pink.
Full Throttle- fun bright peach and orange mix, quite creamy in finish.
Stop The Clock- a pastel yellow with a hint of a grey nude.
Lap Of Honour- a dusty mauve shade with a grey tint.
Road Rage- a mint green that leans slightly more towards a sea green shade.
Pole Position- a pistachio green that is very unique.
Eat My Dust- a soft powdery blue, very pretty.
Pit Stop- a nude grey mix, one of my favourites.

I think it's quite a basic collection in terms of exciting shades, but that's in no way a bad thing. I view this collection as a great way to pick up some go to polish shades with the clever speedy dry formula.

Do the polishes actually dry fast? Yes they do. Two coats is touch dry in under five minutes.
The finish is quite normal, not too glossy or too matte. Some of the lighter shades need three thin coats but most the range is good with two normal coats of polish.

If you are in the market for some new nail paints then definitely pick these up!

imPRESS accent press on nails

imPRESS Accent Press on Nails £6.98

I'm terrible at nails, I can just about paint them nicely but can't do any sort of nail art. I love the idea of well manicured nails but I'm too scared to get any sort of gel or acrylic nails done properly. I've used imPRESS nails before and think they are great for a quick and easy manicure.

imPRESS Accent Nails come in a range of different designs, I've tried out the Bells and Whistle print which I think are really fun. The nails are mint green, one of my favourite colours, with an aztec print accent nail. In each set of imPRESS Accent Nails you get a range of different nail sizes with numbers on for you to match up the correct sizes. There is also a nail file and wipe.

Even for someone as incapable as me, imPRESS nails are so easy to apply. You simply wipe over nails and file them, then match up the correct sizes and press them on. I like to apply pressure for a minute or so on each nail just to make sure the nail is properly secure. This set of nails lasted four days before they started to fall off. I don't think that's bad at all for nails that don't use any glue or anything that could cause damage to your nails.

If you've got a last minute event or party to go to, or are heading to a summer festival or generally just want an easy manicure, then you should definitely check out the imPRESS range. There are so many fun colours and designs.

You can pick up imPRESS Accent Nails in Asda and other beauty suppliers.

Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra

Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra

For the past few years I've been solely using a Tangle Teezer as a hairbrush, which I absolutely love. I have hair that is quite thick and naturally very wavy so a good detangling brush is essential for me.
The problem I've had with my Tangle Teezer is that it doesn't have a handle so I find myself dropping it sometimes and it's not the easiest to use for hair styling. I've wanted to find a new detangling brush that was great for keeping my hair knot free but had a handle, luckily I have found the Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra!

Firstly I have to say how much I love the bright pink colour of the brush, it is very cute and makes it pretty much impossible to loose! It also comes in blue, orange, green and yellow.
The brush is designed for people with long and thick hair, and it has nylon bristles which are super soft so that they will glide through to remove tangles without doing any damage. The bristles work well on both wet and dry hair, they don't snag or feel like they are pulling harshly on the hair. It is really gentle and never feels like it could be doing any damage.

The handle is my favourite part of the Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra, it makes styling my hair a much easier thing to do. I've honestly no clue how I managed without a paddle style brush for this long. I like the size of the head and bristles, as I can brush through my hair in less strokes. The brush has a good weight as well, it's not light enough that I'm forever dropping it but also not too heavy that it makes my arm ache.

I wouldn't say this is as great at remove bad tangles as the Tangle Teezer but it's a much better every day brush. It's one of those products that now I have it, I don't really remember how I coped without it!

Have you tried any hair brushes by Denman?

ultimate capsule wardrobe*

There are a few different clothing items that I think are definitely worth spending a little bit more money on, things that you know you are always going to love and they will never go out of style. I love having a selection of pieces that all match together nicely and you know that whichever pieces you put together will create a great outfit. I picked a few items from three great designers at Avenue 32 that make up my ultimate capsule wardrobe.

This Frame Denim oxford blue cotton shirt cut has a relaxed fit and slightly longer length. It would look perfect layered over summer dresses or under thick jumpers in the winter.

A pair or dark blue skinny jeans is a complete wardrobe essential. This AG Jeans navy pair has a high waist and has the right amount of softness stretch to 'hold you in' and look very flattering whilst still being comfortable.

I love this grey and cream James Perse stripe top as it is relaxed but can still be dressed up when needed. I'm all about basing an outfit around comfort so this would tick so many boxes!

Boyfriend fit jeans are perfect for the ultimate laid back style. I love the light wash of this AG Jeans pair with the distressed detail. They'd look great with everything from jeans to heels!

The ultimate wardrobe essential is a white tshirt. AG Jeans and Alexa Chung have created the perfect white top. It's super soft and slightly ribbed with a casual fit. If you don't own a white tee then definitely invest!

What items would be in your ultimate capsule wardrobe?

Too Faced Bronzers

Too Faced BronzersToo Faced BronzersToo Faced Bronzers
Too Faced Bronzers
Too Faced Bronzers
Too Faced BronzersToo Faced Bronzers
Too Faced Bronzers £21 each*

There are so many different types of bronzers around on the beauty market that it can be incredibly confusing trying to find one that will work for you. Do you want one that is matte, shimmery, one shade, a mixture of tones etc? With contouring becoming more and more popular and summer finally here, it's great that one brand has pretty much got bronzers sorted. Too Faced have a bronzer for everyone. They have eight in their collection, so you can start your own bronzer wardrobe and find the perfect bronzer for every occasion.

Too Faced have covered all possible bases with their bronzing wardrobe. Whether you are after a matte shade for contour, a bronze and blush in one, something natural or something luminous, there is a bronzer for you.
The collection is organised into three mini categories of 'Bunnies', 'Chocolate Soleil' and the other two special shades.

The Chocolate Soleil bronzers are matte shades that are easy to use whether you want to contour or warm up your complexion with a shade suited for your skin tone. The Chocolate Soleil bronzers are made with cocoa and have a delicious scent,  you'll find it really hard not to constantly smell as it's that addictive. They are very smooth and easy to apply, with a texture that blends well.
Milk Chocolate Soleil is the lightest shade, which is great if you are fair skinned like me. Then there is Chocolate Soleil for a medium to deep tan and Dark Chocolate Soleil for a rich and deep shade. Of course anyone one can use the shade they want too but there really is a perfect matte Chocolate Soleil shade for everyone!

The two special bronzers in the range are the Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer and the Endless Summer 16 hr Bronzer. Pink Leopard has the cutest leopard pattern that's made up of bronze and blush shades to give a gorgeous glow. It works best applied on the apples of the cheeks to brighten up your complexion. It's quite illuminating and all the shades compliment each other nicely.
The Endless Summer 16 hour Bronzer has a special double bound formula that will last all day long, even in the heat. Perfect if you are on holiday, at a festival or even battling a commute in the heat! It has a medium to deep tone with a slight amount of shimmer. It's great for warming up the complexion.

The three different Bunny Bronzers offers a selection of bronzing products with different shimmers and colours.
Sun Bunny is a two shade bronzer with pink undertones that gives a natural looking glow and tan as if you'd just caught the sun.
Beach Bunny has four shades; a light golden shimmer, a deep bronzer, a medium bronzer and a pink shade. This is great as a do it all bronzer as you can use the shades for contouring, highlighting or just adding warmth to your complexion.
Snow Bunny is great for that glow you get when you've been out in the cold! It has a white shimmer, a pale pink shimmer, a champagne shimmer and a medium bronzer. It gives a natural looking glow and again is great as you can mix and match to use the shades individually or all together.

I'm pretty much in love with the whole Too Faced Bronzing Wardrobe and would 100% recommend checking them out if you are in the market for a new bronzer or have now realised you have something missing from your collection.
The quality is brilliant, the packaging is gorgeous and the price is fair in my opinion.

My Everyday Make Up Routine

I recently finally filmed my everyday make up routine for my YouTube Channel. Honestly it was a very scary video to film, putting yourself on the internet with absolutely no make up on can be a tad daunting when you aren't the most comfortable in your skin.
However I kind of enjoyed filming and sharing my 'routine' with you and hope you like watching!

You can watch online here, and it would mean the world if you could subscribe to my Channel!

BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair Dryer

BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair DryerBaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair DryerBaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair Dryer

BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair Dryer* RRP £120 but currently on offer for £60

I don't know if it's just me, but I hate washing my hair. I love the feeling when it's finally done and styled, but the process of having to wash, dry and style my hair is something I hate doing. My hair is quite long and naturally thick, so it can be a bit of a procedure to blow dry and defrizz.
I was very excited to hear about the new BaByliss Pro tool that was designed in collaboration with Ferrari and claims to be very powerful but still lightweight! I absolutely love electrical beauty and gadgets, so was very excited to put this new tool to the test and see if it's worth investing in.

The BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair Dryer is powered by by the new MaxLife PRO brushless motor, designed in collaboration with Ferrari, to give up to 10,000 hours of drying compared to just 700 hours of standard styling tools. It has a high power of 2400W, stronger air pressure and much faster airflow. It comes with two different slim nozzles for precision drying and a noise reducing filter that you can pop on the back of the dryer.

I love the professional and sleek look of the dryer. It definitely looks like something you'd find in a top salon. It has a glossy black design with a handy loop on the lead so you can hang it up if you wish. The cord is 'tangle-free' and 2.8m in length, it's a good sized lead that I've had no issues with. The dryer weighs just 530g, which is very light for a tool with this much power.

The BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA has two switches on the handle that control the speed and heat settings. There is also a cold shot button, which works well to add extra shine and kind of seal or set your hair. I love the Turbo Boost button on the back of the handle, this gives you a very high powered blow dry that gets my hair completely dry in around 5 minutes, very speedy for my hair!

I first thought £120 was a lot to pay for a hair dryer, but after using it for a couple of months I genuinely think it is worth the investment. It completely dries my hair in half the time of my previous dryer and leaves it much less frizzy and in a better condition. It's a very lightweight dryer and stops me from getting that annoying arm ache, it's also impressively quiet for something so powerful.

The BaByliss Pro ItaliaBRAVA Hair Dryer is currently on offer for just £60 on Feel Unique, I would 100% recommend ordering one whilst it's on this fantastic deal. It's seriously worth it.

They're Real Colour Push Up Liners

They're Real Colour Push Up LinerThey're Real Colour Push Up LinerThey're Real Colour Push Up LinerThey're Real Colour Push Up LinerThey're Real Colour Push Up Liner  They're Real Coloured Push Up Liners* £18.50

I am a complete eyeliner addict and wear it every single day (well every day I wear make up!) I'm addicted to it and genuinely sometimes don't even feel myself without it. One of my most favourite eyeliners is the Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner, which launched last summer. It's a pigmented, matte black gel liner that comes in an easy to use pen with a clever flexible nib applicator.
I may be obsessed with eyeliner but I have never used any other colours except for black, until I started using the newest additions to the Benefit They're Real family, the fab coloured liners.

Benefit are adding four bold but wearable shades to the Push Up Liner family. When I heard three of the shades were jewel toned based shades I was a tad scared thinking they would be the sort of colours you'd have only worn in the 90s or if you are under the age of 10, but I am so glad to be wrong.
The new shades are Beyond Blue, Beyond Brown, Beyond Purple and Beyond Green. Each of the shades is easily wearable and would compliment any eye colour. The colours are deep in tone meaning they are actually quite subtle and very grown up. They can look less harsh than the black shade, so are great if you are looking for something a bit softer.  I've been wearing the blue a lot and absolutely love it.

I wont talk too much about the applicator, as it's the same as the original black liner, but if you find eyeliner hard or are looking to try a new technique then definitely give this a go. The formula is the same pigmented, creamy and long lasting product as the original black liner. These babies do not budge. They are going to last all day long, are waterproof and smudge proof. I know some people do not like the lasting power of the liner because it can be hard to remove but I absolutely love it and know it's going to be there at the end of the day no matter what.

I'm a neutrals make up girl, except for lipstick, so the word 'colour' really does scare me sometimes. However I have to say I honestly love these new shades.
Will you be trying any of the new Benefit Coloured They're Real Push Up Liners?

The new shades are online now and hitting counters in July!

The No-Bump Bobble

The No-Bump Bobble* prices range from 60p

With the warmer weather and my hair at the longest it've been in a while, I've been wearing my hair up a lot lately (mainly stylishly all piled up on top of my head) and have fallen in love with a brand called The No-Bump Bobble. Do you hate it when you tie your hair up and are left with a huge kink or bump in your hair from your hair tie? The No-Bump Bobbles completely take away that problem!

The No-Bump Bobbles are bump free, snag free and kind to hair whilst also being incredibly cute and fun. Each bobble is hand made from a high quality durable fabic. I had the best time picking five bobbles from the huge range available.
Obviously I was straight away drawn to the Disney themed bobbles and picked out a Frozen theme, a Disney Princess design and a Minnie Mouse pattern. I also chose a mint green bobble with silver spots and a cute white glittery one. I thought the glitter bobble may shed it's sparkle but the glitter is still completely in tact!

I didn't think the bobbles would hold my thick hair up but they really do and I can wrap the bobble round my hair three times securely with no problems. They aren't so tight that when I wear them on my wrist they hurt, which is something I do a lot because they are so cute, I hate hair bands that leave an indent on your wrist!
The best bit about the bobbles, apart from the brilliant designs, is that they really work. They hold my hair in place and don't leave any sign of a bump when I take my hair out. They are really kind to your hair and aren't going to cause the damage some of the regular style bands can do.

The No-Bump Bobbles are really reasonably priced at around 60p each depending on what design you go for. For £3 incl delivery you can pick a bundle of 5 bobbles to create your own selection, or there are also some cute pre selected mixes as well.

I haven't even picked up another hair band since trying out The No-Bump Bobbles and I 100% recommend checking out the website. They are so cute and fun, I can't wait to take the Disney ones on my next Disney trip.

What do you think? Check out the website here.
