Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold £4.99
I have and love the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze which I reviewed here, so I naturally feel the need to buy all the other wearable shades in the range, starting with Pink Gold. The Maybelline Colour Tattoo's are long wearing cream/gel formula eye shadows that claim to wear for 24 hours. There are lots of different types of these around by different brands, I have yet to try other versions but am hoping to pick some more up in Florida.
The best way for me to apply this is with my fingers, it means I can easily blend it out and make it as strong in colour as I'd like. I find it harder to apply with a brush as I loose some of the pigmentation. The formula of the Color Tattoos is lovely and soft, it's easy to work with and sets as a great base for applying other eye shadow over or looks great on it's own. Pink Gold is slightly out of my comfort zone, I'm super pale so the idea of applying a metallic pink to my eyes scared me a bit, but blended out this looks gorgeous for a quick, subtle day time look. I am definitely going to look for more colours in the US.
Maybelline Colour Tattoos cost £4.99 (but are usually on some sort of offer) from the drugstore.
Have you tried them?

I really wanted to try these ever since i saw them used in Elle magazine last month. You've picked a gorgeous colour, will definitely buy some soon!

GET IT :) xo
DeleteI have the colour Eternal Gold and to be honest so far I've found it very difficult to wear, maybe I just haven't figured it out yet. Any tips for making the bright shades more wearable or do you think you just have to bite the bullet and be bold?
ReplyDeleteYou could blend them out a bit more or apply a more muted colour over the top to try to tone down the brightness or just use it as a highlight maybe?xo
DeleteI pciked this beautiful colour tattoo up before i went on holiday to LA and i absolutly love it! It reminds me of a UD Sin shade which is fabulus - I am just obsessed with anything and everything rose gold esk haha :D
