Bonjour lovelies!
I picked up the MUA Gel Eyeliner in Superdrug the other day when it was on offer with £1 off. I am complete eyeliner addict. However I can be pretty boring and only ever wear black eyeliner unless it is a special occasion where extra sparkliness is needed, like Christmas! The only ever gel eyeliner I have tried is the much loved Maybelline Lasting Drama.
The Gel Eyeliner is avaliable in four different colours, Underground (black), Fairground (grey), On Move (sparkly brown) and Tribe (blue). They claim to be completely smudge proof once it has dried. I really like gel eyeliners as I find them so much more pigmented than a kohl pencil and easier to work with, plus you can create a variety of different looks without putting much effort into it.
One of my favourite things about this is the brush! When I bought this you do not even want to know how long it took me to work out where the brush is. You can pull the brush out of the lid and it ends up the same length as the pot. If you want the brush to be longer, which is normally easier to get more precise application, you can unscrew the lid and click the brush into the top of it!
Clever stuff. One thing I must say is always use a tissue to remove excess off the brush when you have finished to stop it from clumping and not being usable again!
The MUA Gel Eyeliner is actually brilliant stuff. It is very pigmented and a creamy texture that is so easy to apply. It is easy to get a smooth and straight line with the brush. It is great for doing the "flicky eye". The Gel Eyeliner dries quickly so you can easily build up the intensity of the colour. It is not as pigmented as Maybelline's eyeliner on the first layer, but considering the huge price difference this does not bother me. After two coats it creates the perfect pigmented black that really looks great!
The MUA Gel Eyeliner is on offer for £2 at the moment, which is an amazing price for a product like this, it can be picked up in Superdrug or at the MUA Store here.
Are you an eyeliner addict like me?

I'm the same! But this is great for every day wear! X
DeleteI am so excited to try this product now that I've read this review! I am a massive lover of the gel liner, but find that mine tend to dry out quite quickly (not quite sure what I'm doing wrong!) and for this reason, I'm always on the look-out for cheap and easily replaceable varieties. And I adore MUA products, such good quality for the money!
